The Diminution of the Word

The Way of Transformation of Will

Page 2

This Lord of natures today was transformed contrary to His nature;it is not too difficult for us also to overthrow our evil will/Bound is the body by its nature for it cannot grow larger or smaller; but powerful is the will for it may grow to all sizes/Today the Deity imprinted itself on humanity, so that humanity might also be cut into the seal of Deity.

We enjoy interpenetration with the Marvel to marvel, through this Will to form diminution by will. This Will to diminution formed Itself in Mary's womb, again through will, her will, so that we might enjoy through will the Immensity of Christ, Who by Will chose to reduce Immensity in appearance, retaining Immensity containing the appearance by which It appeared to us. Then, can we not, St. Ephrem posits, give our will to this Will that enacted such diminution in love for us?

Through conversion of will by Will toward Will, which draws one to Will by Will-enabling-will, shall senses and mind be transformed to know One and sense intimatic union with the Word, Who continues to descend--but not in a spatial way, only a logical manner--to us through the Holy Spirit, the Union of Father and Son in a single Love.

The Way of God-in-Christ is not through an idea of the Nativity, or any associated teachings. The Way is entering through will into Will, by Will and will, choosing diminution that we might know Intimatic Intercourse with Love, and enjoy Such through conversion of mind and senses to receive the Outflow of the Godhead, and This is Beauty of Grace Herself, in Intimactic Spirit.
