The presentations at this site cover a long time period. Each one represents part of an on-going Pilgrimage, and the writer's ideas, practices, and experience have changed over time. This change is the quality of any living Journey. Please read with this in mind, allowing the inner Teacher to speak to you as you need at this particular time in your own living Journey. Thanks!

The business and method of mysticism is love.

Prayerful Silence is
experience of Emptiness

This Emptiness
is not a vacuum

This Emptiness
is a Fulness

How can It be both?
By being neither

It is
It is not

Emptiness
is the apparently-paradoxical
Ground of all contraries

However,
before experience, so prior to paradox
Pure Prayer is prior to what can be meant
by either Emptiness or Fulness

In Contemplation
Emptiness and Fulness
are reunited in the Mystical Marriage
of the Heart ~ our One Heart
