Prayer arises from Presence, the one Presence
Presence is One and the One
Prayer participates in both the One and
manifestations of the One
The One is One-ing in time and space
The manifestations of the One, or One-ing,
are secondary to and dependent on prior Oneness,
as the Sunlight is an expression of the Sun and
secondary to and dependent on the Sun
So, spontaneous expressions of Union with others
may arise into the body-and-mind during Quiet Prayer
These are not to be sought or resisted
Prayerful Contemplation is not the denial of the manifestations,
but expression of them within the Embrace of Union in Silence
These natural arisings may arise as a
sense of connection with another person
The sense of connection is arising, then,
from the prior Connection, which is Oneness
This arising is more likely to occur
if you and another are living a life
of Prayerfulness of Heart over an extended time
The felt-connection, the arising, is the fruition of Prayerfulness
and, therefore, is not the result of effort to gain a connection
Such, as taught by Prayerfulness Itself, is received, not gotten
If this connection occurs, be grateful, receive
See that this is Prayer Itself, even though you
are likely not to know any purpose behind the manifestation
The only purpose may be the experience of, even enjoyment of,
this manifestation as Love ~ for Love Itself has no essential purpose outside Itself
We tend to demand a purpose to every experience,
to make life appear meaningful and justify our existence
In these arisings of connection, we are simply to rest in the Love
Possibly, a felt-need to pray for the other may arise, possibly not
Simply know, this connection-in-Union is already Prayer
Do not try to prolong the experience
Remember, this is an experience of Oneness,
not Oneness prior to manifestation
The manifestation is born from and resolves back into Pure Grace
You are Love
The other is Love
Connection is Love Loving,
Oneness expressing Oneness
